Machinery's Handbook January 6, 2009 Product came very quickly and just as represented. Very happy with the whole process.
My own bible like reference. December 28, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm a machinist. This book gives you any information you need when it comes to engineering and other mechanical facts. I have old versions and I like them all.
If you need it, you need it November 23, 2008 Any design engineer should have this book. It's got everything from fastener dimensions (if you have to model/draw them in your design) to std. clearance&interference fits to material properties and machining speeds & feeds.
If you're designing, manufacturing, or planning most any products that aren't circuit boards, it's probably a good idea to get a copy of this book.

The best reference for the metal working trade - more than you will ever need to know
Better than a good thing but.. September 29, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
I love this book, but for me there is a mix of SI and Imperial units. I would much rather have everything in SI, except where the section is imperial, eg Imperial threads.
